Hinoki is deeply related to Japanese history. Hinoki, which is resistant to moisture, has been used as a building material for shrines and temples since ancient times to protect it from the humid climate peculiar to Japan. It lives in Taiwan and Japan and prefers dry places, but in Japan it is planted in large numbers. It has been used as a building material for a long time because of its characteristics of being straight and easy to process. It has a sweet and spicy scent familiar to Japanese people.
